Amy Wormald is an award-winning artist renowned for her distinctive paintings of urban and rural landscapes using vivid colour.
Living under the vast skies of the Cambridgeshire Fens, Amy makes work about the world around her home, and her experience of being in different environments.
Amy gained a degree in Fine Art in 2002, but it wasn’t until fifteen years later that she fully immersed herself in painting. Now her practice is centred around the perpetual contemplation of painting, facilitated by her dedicated studio in Ely.
Amy has exhibited widely in group shows and staged 4 successful solo exhibitions. Notable recognition for her work includes 1st Prize at the Cambridge Open Art Exhibition, Holly Bush Women’s Art Prize Bursary, selection for D Contemporary Painting Prize and special commendation from the Institute of East Anglian Artists. Her work was selected for ING Discerning Eye Exhibition 2023 and for The Other Art Fair presented by Saatchi Art in 2024.
Beyond physical exhibitions, Amy’s artwork resonated with a global audience online, attracting collectors worldwide. She also works with clients on special commissions and bespoke artworks for both residential and commercial settings.
