From humble beginnings in 2008, Koa have always been inspired by a love for the coast and the opportunity to work within the UK’s thriving creative community.

Our maker’s studio — based near the water’s edge in Sully, South Wales — is a tranquil and minimalist space that gives us an unrivalled environment in which to work and enjoy what we do. We hope to capture this feeling in every piece of our handmade jewellery, reflecting the coastline in all of its colours and forms.

Out of respect for the environment, our jewellery is made using 100% fair-mined tin & bio-organic (plant-based) resin.

Koa crafts simple, vibrant, well considered jewellery. Our processes and products have been refined over the years, just as our beliefs have. With consideration for today’s and tomorrows consumer, our community of independent
retailers, our environment and the impacts we have on nature, we act with care and integrity. Sustainability and plastic reduction is an integral part of our manufacturing and retail approach, with all of our packaging and shipping materials made exclusively from recycled or recyclable materials.

Sustaining the integrity of our business and relationships is fundamental to Koa. This is reflected in the work itself, which emphasises small scale production and the dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Lawrence (designer and general dogsbody) is as committed as ever to developing his craft through this colourful and planet friendly enterprise.
