Inspired by the beautiful traditional Japanese technique of Kurinuki, Amy hand carves each piece from a lump of toasted stoneware clay. Glaze is then carefully selected for each piece, with copper oxide blues and crawling glazes to highlight the detailed carved surfaces.
Each mug is individual and not replicated. Sizes vary.
