In the creative process, I manipulate the scale of marks and generate contrasts using colours and textures and paint application techniques. These contrasts may not be immediately evident but will gradually reveal themselves as you delve deeper into the layers of the artwork. They exist in harmony with the quiet gestures and the bold expansive areas of my paintings, contributing to the overall richness and complexity of some of the pieces.
